Highlander Accelerator

Lund-Ross was selected as Construction Manager for the Highlander Development in north Omaha. After working for many months on preconstruction efforts with the developer and each of the three architects that were brought onto the team, ground was broken in September 2015.
The Highlander consists of 16 separate structures on 25 acres straddling 30th Street. Significant coordination with the City of Omaha and neighboring homes and businesses was required to begin the project.
The Accelerator is a 65,000-square-foot, three-level structure housing educational services, a coffee shop, restaurants, and community space. Adjacent tracts include 74 apartments and 27 townhomes. The entire site is fully landscaped.
Completion was phased from Spring of 2017 to Spring of 2018.
