Heartland Family Service Sarpy County
CLIENT: Heartland Family Service
LOCATION: Council Bluffs, IA
ARCHITECT: SLATE
Lund-Ross was selected to engage Slate Architecture and Heartland Family Service to fully renovate their building in Sarpy County.
The 15,000-square-foot renovation consists of two distinct areas: office and residential. The existing offices on the south side of the building received a refresh, including drywall repairs, new paint, and flooring.
Construction on the south side also included the build-out of four new offices, a breakroom with kitchenette, and the reconfiguration of the existing lobby, reception, and workroom areas to create space for a group room, medical exam room, and additional offices.
The residential area was built on the north end of the building, which was previously an unfinished storage area. This open-concept space includes one office, twelve bedrooms, a kitchenette, two shower rooms, a storage room, and laundry facilities.
The project also included the addition of an outdoor patio and an exterior storage building.
