Progress at Thriving Connections in North Platte

Construction continues to move forward at Thriving Connections, a 44-unit permanent supportive housing development currently under construction in North Platte. With framing well underway, the project is taking a visible step toward delivering much-needed housing opportunities for the community.

Funded through the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority via the LIHTC-CRANE and ERA-2 programs, Thriving Connections is designed to provide high-quality, affordable housing for moderate- and low-income residents. The development will feature a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, offering flexibility for individuals and families at different stages of life.

Beyond housing, Thriving Connections is centered on long-term stability and community well-being. On-site supportive services will be available to residents, helping foster connection, engagement, and independence. The goal is not just to provide a place to live, but to create a supportive environment where residents can build a strong foundation for future success.

The project was designed by Shive-Hattery and reflects a thoughtful approach to both functionality and community impact. As construction progresses, Thriving Connections continues to take shape as an important investment in North Platte’s housing future.
