CLIENT: NuStyle Development
LOCATION: Lincoln, NE
ARCHITECT: BVH Architecture

Lund-Ross completed the renovation of the former Old Federal Building in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. The historic three-story structure was converted to apartments and renamed the Grand Manse.

The owners utilized historic tax credits for the renovation, which included new plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems for the structure. The upper levels of the Grand Manse house 42 apartments that range between 555 and 1,645 square feet. Lund-Ross built ten livework units on the ground floor. A new steel-supported underground parking garage was constructed beneath the building.

Lund-Ross preserved historical third-floor courtroom in the Grand Manse building. Original architectural elements like marble stairs, terrazzo floors, marble wainscoting, ornate wood cornices, and wood doors were restored.

The renovation of the Grand Manse was successfully completed by Lund-Ross on time and within budget.
