It has just been awesome to watch them work so hard, so efficiently, and always with great attitudes! Even when it was over 100 degrees for weeks and there was no air or any way to get air circulating through the building, they worked, didn’t complain, and were always upbeat.

UNMC Poynter Hall

Lund-Ross completed a renovation of Poynter Hall on the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) campus in midtown Omaha. Poynter Hall was built in 1913 to house the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and was the original building on the UNMC Omaha campus.

Crews demolished the interior of the five-story, 41,335-square-foot building, and new mechanical and electrical systems were installed. Lund-Ross built new clinic and practice exam rooms, residents’ offices and clinics, and a new microsurgery laboratory. All construction work in Poynter Hall was completed to meet LEED certification standards.

Lund-Ross finished the renovation of UNMC Poynter Hall under an aggressive construction schedule in October 2012.
