Early Learning Center at Kennedy

Lund-Ross was selected to work with Omaha Public Schools and 75 North as construction manager for the latest Early Learning Center facility attached to Kennedy Elementary School at 30th and Bedford Streets in North Omaha.

The building is 50,600 square feet containing child care rooms, interior play spaces, a full-service kitchen, administrative offices, training rooms and support spaces on two levels.

The structure is a steel frame with cast-in-place walls forming a storm shelter that will support a concrete and metal deck roof of the shelter. Exterior walls are metal stud framing with brick and architectural pre-cast concrete as well as aluminum storefront and pre-finished metal panels.

Preconstruction estimating and scheduling efforts will concluded in June 2018 with construction slated to begin in August 2018.
