Fair Deal Village Marketplace

CLIENT: Omaha Economic Development Corporation
LOCATION: Omaha, NE
ARCHITECT: Alley Poyner Macchietto

Lund-Ross was selected again by OEDC to work with Alley Poyner Macchietto on the construction of a new single-story 6,000-square-foot café/grocery store and nearly 9,000 square feet of retail space. The new complex construction replaced the iconic 24th Street grocery store that had fallen into an unsalvageable state.

The constructions consisted of a steel structure with wood framed walls and exterior walls, and a masonry and EFIS exterior skin veneer. The interior was Class A finish with wood wainscot, polished concrete floors, solid surface tops and custom casework. The project was another great success for this team and another fine investment in the neighborhood by Mike Maroney and the Omaha Economic Development Corporation.
