Children's Square Academic Center

Lund-Ross was retained to provide construction services for the 8,600-square-foot renovation and 3,200-square-foot addition to the Academic Center building at Children’s Square U.S.A.

The early 20th-Century structure will have a complete interior makeover, new mechanical and electrical systems, the addition of an automatic sprinkler system and various ADA improvements. New windows will be sized to meet the original masonry openings and reflect the building’s architectural character.

The Academic Center is a unique educational program providing intensive individual support for students with severe emotional and behavioral needs. The school serves students who need a specialized program to meet their educational needs. Specialized instruction and services, structured emotional and behavioral support and emphasis on academics are the hallmarks of the Academic Center.

The project was completed in August 2019.
