Lund-Ross Constructors Wraps Up Construction Projects
Omaha, Neb., March, 2008 – Lund-Ross Constructors, Inc. recently finished a diverse collection of construction projects throughout the city, including a new “low-vision” facility, a downtown warehouse renovation and a church sanctuary restoration.
The new $1.2 million WallStreet Tower Sales and Marketing Office was completed by Lund-Ross in February. The 8,500 square-foot glass structure houses five condo models for the WallStreet Tower condo project (construction of the 33-story tower is scheduled to begin this summer). Owner Townsend Incorporated hosted a series of parties at the marketing office in early March to kick off sales for WallStreet Tower.
The Weigel Williamson Center was also finished in February by Lund-Ross on the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus. Another new construction project, the facility is a state-of-the-art, specially designed “low vision house” that is the only nonprofit provider of low vision services in Nebraska, South Dakota and western Iowa.
Lund-Ross completed large-scale renovations for Creighton University and the new Spencer’s for Steaks & Chops in downtown Omaha. Creighton continues to expand its campus and hired Lund-Ross to renovate a vacant five-story warehouse into office space. Spencer’s moved into the restaurant in the downtown Hilton Garden Inn after Lund-Ross finished a complete remodel of the space.
Two major church renovations were completed back-to-back in Benson and Ralston. Lund-Ross led inner-city parish St. Bernards Church through its third phase of a restoration project that stretches over seven years. Located in the Benson neighborhood, the distinct structure was built in the 1930s and features Spanish architectural elements like a red-tiled roof, stucco walls and ornamental columns.
Messiah Lutheran Church in Ralston hired Lund-Ross to work with sound consultants on an acoustical renovation for its modern facility. Lund-Ross completed the renovation for the growing congregation in less than four months.
