Lund-Ross Starts Harvester Artist Lofts
Warehouse to Undergo Historic Renovation

Council Bluffs, Iowa, July 24, 2009 – Lund-Ross broke ground on the Artspace housing project in Council Bluffs in early July. The historic restoration project includes a complete renovation of the four-story, 80,797 square-foot International Harvester building into live/work space.
Lund-Ross will oversee the construction of 36 oversized apartments and 5,500 square feet of space for studio artists and arts-compatible businesses in the Harvester building. Built in 1894, the warehouse was used by a variety of businesses over the last century.
Artspace, a Minneapolis-based, nonprofit real estate developer, purchased the Harvester building to further its mission to build affordable live/work space for artists. Artspace has created housing projects in cities across America from Seattle to New York since the 1980s.
