Lund-Ross constructed the new 16,000 square-foot temple in the Florence neighborhood of north Omaha. All
materials used in this facility are of the highest quality, like the Canadian Bethel White granite used for the
exterior. Lund-Ross carpenters installed cherry wainscot and crown-molded solid doors to the strictest of
specifications. Much coordination was required with the artisans, who were brought in from Utah by the
church to install the customary gold leaf, stained glass and crystal elements. Once completed, LDS leaders
invited other contractors to view the Winter Quarters Temple as an example of fine craftsmanship.
