Details

The Omaha Park 8 cast-in-place parking structure consists of over 430,000 square feet. Eight parking tiers house 1293 stalls that are 8’6” wide. The garage project included the construction of a new 650-foot tunnel beneath Dodge Street that connects Omaha Park 8 to the Union Pacific Railroad Headquarters building. The project was completed in 2004. Omaha Park 4 was completed in 1996 and was recognized by the American Institute of Architects in 1997 with an Architectural Honor Award. With 60,000 square feet per level, Omaha Park 4 was built to house over 450 parking spaces. Using corrugated metal roofs and brick cladding, the garage was designed and built to blend in with the surrounding historical structures in Omaha’s historical Old Market district.
