The new Bellevue Welcome Center was built as a community resource center for military families
relocating to the Offut Air Force Base. The facility offers conference centers, a computer resource
center, childcare center and a printing operation; the Welcome Center also houses offices for the
Bellevue School District. Lund-Ross maintained a large crew during construction and completed
the project in late 2002. The neighboring Lied Activity Center is a 60,000 square-foot public health
club. The center includes three large gymnasiums, an elevated running track, locker rooms, weight
and cardio fitness rooms, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, batting cages and staff offices. The
Lied Activity Center was completed in early 2003.
