Details

The Scoular Grain Building, completed by Lund-Ross in 1989, was one of downtown Omaha’s first large- scale historic restorations. The project consisted of gutting the entire structure and building a new front entrance, two-story lobby and office space. A new health club – featuring a basketball court, running track, swimming pool and racquetball courts – was built into the lower level of the building. The Scoular Grain Building is a registered historical building, and Lund-Ross had to preserve original elements like the ballroom and the original grain-trading floor to maintain the structure’s historical status.
