Lund-Ross Constructors completed the renovation of the historic Aquila Court Building into an upscale 146- room Westin Hotel. Part of the original space was converted into the new hotel lobby and had to be structurally reinforced. The new area incorporates a mezzanine overlooking the main hotel lobby; the
mezzanine houses a portion of the mechanical equipment that services the historic public spaces. Great care
was exercised in dealing with the historic aspects of the structure while designing totally new mechanical and
electrical systems.
