The new Saddle Creek Records development encompasses two buildings and approximately 60,000 square feet. The south building includes offices for Saddle Creek Records, its distribution warehouse and the music venue/bar Slowdown. The nonprofit Film Streams opened its two-screen movie theater in the development’s south building, which also houses two live/work units. Lund-Ross completed the finishes for national clothing retailer American Apparel in the north building, which sits alongside Urban Outfitters and Omaha's second location of Blue Line Coffee. Seven loft-style apartment units are built into the north building and feature open layouts, sealed concrete floors, sliding warehouse doors and balconies. The Saddle Creek Records development was honored with a 2008 Excellence in Construction Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) for commercial construction.
