The Paxton Chop House encompasses 7,700 square feet on the main floor of the renovated
Paxton Hotel. The restaurant interior has coffered drywall ceilings with crown molding, wood cherry
wainscot walls, etched glass located above doors and at the booths, granite tiled walls and floors at
the restrooms along with granite base and accent banding to complement the oil rubbed oak
flooring. The restaurant seats about 200 diners in a large main area with four private dining rooms
and features a specialized wine room that offers one of the best collections in the Midwest.
